Easton residents, Jim and Lisa Farnen, have embarked on a new educational services company on Danbury Road in Wilton to help children and families. The Farnen’s bring a wealth of experience to their venture—The Farnen Educational Group. Lisa Farnen, an elementary school teacher, tutor, and consultant along with her husband Jim, a vice principal at Staples High School in Westport, aim to provide students and their families with the very best educational support services beyond what is available to them during the regular school day.
"We have brought together a staff of highly trained professionals who have served as teachers, directors, administrators and counselors to serve the wide-ranging needs of today's students and families," said Managing Director and mother of four Lisa Farnen. The Farnen Educational Group provides in-home academic tutoring, college planning, educational consulting as well as other services.
“Every student learns differently and it is our belief that success for our students is reliant upon accurately assessing the specific needs for each individual we work with. We work hard to really get to know our students; their learning styles, strengths, areas for improvement, and their work habits, in order to help them succeed. You will find that our professionals actively engage students in their learning in a very personalized manner,” said Lisa Farnen.
As an educator with almost twenty years of experience, Jim Farnen provided that "he is well aware of the stresses involved in the education of one's children and hopes the services offered by the Farnen Educational Group will assist families during various periods of their child’s unique educational journey."
The Farnen Educational Group has an office located in Wilton, Connecticut. For more information, visit their Web site at www.FarnenEducationalGroup.com or (203) 870-9396.
